Many Thanks to RESA for sharing my Watercolors with her followers. Resa was so kind to do this for me so please go and check out her blog if you have yet to follow her or be introduced.
Painting with the rest of them and doing my best to follow the prompt.
I am looking forward to trying my first Paintout coming up soon in Portsmouth NH
not sure anyone will see it never mind offer it for sale but I have to try Plein Air and keep trying to get it right, it is how I can grow as a painter.
I now have art hanging in Epping, Exeter and Portsmouth not mind blowing art mind you but putting myself out there to be judged even though this is my third year of painting if I push myself it is only then that I will excell.
I have met so many really nice people out there. A few so full of themselves which is good as they will end up keeping themselves company, just wish they could see what could be. I will stay open to possibilities and not close myself off to the world outside my door.
I will teach a group my love of Watercolor on Tuesday wish me luck as I thought I was teaching children 🙂 I have made up 60 blank bookmarks out of wc paper and even punched a hole for them to take home and add ribbons too. I will teach them about a wet into wet wash then add salt for texture and then when dry have them finish a scene from their own mind which we all know is limitless. I just hope I can make them happy for an hour and a half or two.
After I spend time in the library I pack up and go to my own class to make the next attempts on this one yes very blurry but was giving my Facebook followers a sneak peak 🙂 (Folsom Mill Studio) can not wait to drop in the next layer.
Thanks for stopping by I am trying to get back into my reader and blogging. Have a great week!
On the start of my 3rd year of painting I am about to have my own reception, at our local library. Scary but exciting.
Ron and I hung over 50 of my pieces and I have 5 more framed pieces, they will go in this week before Friday night’s party.
I will make the punch and something decadent as they will have a cheese board and other snacks laid out for those who come to check out my art.
Good thing I am thick skinned lol I hope to see a lot of strangers stop in that will soon become fast friends.
Thanks for always cheering me on it means the world as I will try to take giant steps in watercolor this year.
I have been painting and I helped the gallery decorate a tree for them that they gave to a local charity.
I want to call my mom many times during the day and remember there is no longer a reason to pick up my phone, I just look up instead.
Here it is the 12th of December and our first real snow is falling yes it looks pretty but it will be a mess to move to make it safe underfoot. JT will love being out with me as I clear pathways and wait for me to throw her a snowball.
The tree above was adorned with the members of the Seacoast Artist Association in Exeter NH and sold for over $200.00 which went to the charity for children locally.
I had a wonderful time at the 2 craft fairs I set up for and made so many sales I was shocked.
Really thought I was on Candid Camera lol
I offered cards like the scene above far from a traditional Christmas card but they loved them.
My girl is hurting and getting old but I was determined to let her see her favorite spot before we were in the depths of winter, buried by snow. She was so happy which filled our hearts as well.
Merry Christmas to you all and Happy Holidays to those who celebrate a different one.
A man from my town was also selling at the Boston Flower Show

27 Stunning Works Of Art You Won’t Believe Aren’t Photographs. These are just amazing. I went to an exhibition of Ron Mueck‘s work a while ago and it was fantastic. These other artists are beyond description. As a beginning artist I just can’t imagine how you can have such a talent.
Time for a little post to say I am still here and following posts of a lot of you on my new reader through RSS links thanks to those who added them for me.
First can you add me if you use Facebook or G+ so I do not lose you 🙂 Mine is Eunice Miller (photo of JT is always what you will see first 🙂 she is a star) I also have an artist page on Facebook too Folsom Mill Studio so please stop by and LIKE ME 🙂
Ok now here is something for you to ponder.
See what I mean!
If you stopped by you would think I was wouldn’t you?
I am just craft and I recycle and no not from MY KITCHEN lol I stole these from the local landfill these are perfectly good bottles!
I will cut them up and use in other ways. Candle holders, drinking glasses, bust some that may not cut perfectly and throw them into the kiln and see what I can make out of the warm glass.
I can do so many things with them I can break them and place in my rock tumbler to get them smooth and wrap in silver wire and added to a pair of ear wires or on a wind chime.
So many possibilities for these rescued bottles do you recycle and make pretty things with them. Like a soup can you can punch a heart design on it with a nail and add a candle in the bottom just a tea light will do and place out where you have you glass of wine on a hot night under the stars.
Follow me on Pinterest I have Pinned a few ideas there YOU?
So if you stop by don’t expect me to have a bottle chilling in the refrigerator or wine cellar just piles of empties to get off my butt and make something pretty with.

Yes Art of every kind can be found here. In many rooms I did not ask if I could take photos, the ones I did were happy to hear I would do a blog on the Western Avenue Studios in Lowell MA, to get the word out.
The month of December they are open each weekend before Christmas. Usually it is OPEN STUDIOS the first weekend of the month.
If you will be in Massachusetts and looking for something fun to do, stop in this old mill building and get up close to those who are creating art right there in their spaces. They want you to watch and also ask questions as well.
A friend and I went as light snow fell and while the outside of this building gives no hints about what is inside, you now know the secret that is held just behind all those bricks.
You can get some great pieces for gifts, that are one of a kind. Maybe you do Interior Design please keep this place in mind for some great deals.
Step into the elevator just inside the door go all the way to the 5th floor and work your way down.
This is truly the bare bones of what you will find inside.
